Summer Nails Through the Years: 2020
We’re back with the next post in our “through the years” series of summer nail art! If you missed last week’s post, we looked at some of my favorite manis from the summer of 2019, and this week we’re moving on to 2020!
Since this year, in 2023, we’re celebrating over SIX YEARS of threesixtynails, I wanted to go back in time and share a few of my favorite summer nail designs from each of those six years. So, even though some of the photo quality may not be the greatest from years past (yikes, sorry, haha), I hope that these posts will give you some mani inspiration for our current summer season. And, if you’ve been around here for a long time, maybe it’ll even be a trip down memory lane for you. :)
Most of these manis originated from Instagram and YouTube videos, so let’s get into it!
1. Sunflower Mani
I love this mani! This nail design was actually featured in one of my “nail art and bullet journal setup” videos that I posted on my YouTube channel throughout the summer of 2020, so it was fun to see this one again. I just adore how cheerful and sunny this manicure looks! ☀️
2. Warm-Weather Nail Art
For when you just can’t decide! :) These nail designs came from a “nail art ideas” YouTube video of mine, but I think it’d be really fun to wear them all at once or use a couple as accent nails. I think the creamsicle and sunshine designs are my faves!
3. Poolside Vibes Mani
These colors are so cute and summery together! It’s very subtle in the photo, but I think this minimal, monochrome dry-brush design on my middle nail is so pretty and trendy-looking.
4. Stripes and Sparkles Nails
I remember first seeing this “waterfall”/stripes design idea over on Elizabeth Anne’s YouTube channel several years ago and it’s repeatedly been one of my favorites to customize for various holidays. It’s such a fun and easy one for any occasion!
I really enjoyed sharing more of these nostalgic nail art looks with you! I remember having such a fun time with content, videos, and new ideas during this 2020 summer, so I really like how unique and cute these designs are.
Which of these summer manis is your favorite? Comment below!
I’ll be sharing our second-to-last round of summer manis from 2021 next week, so stay tuned! Thank you, as always, for all of your kindness and support through the years. I hope you enjoyed this recap! :)
