Maxus Nails Empower Collection | Swatch & Review

Hi, Polished People! I hope you're all doing well. Since I reviewed some Maxus Nails polishes last week on my YouTube channel, I decided to sit down and put together a written review for you guys. Btw, if you want to purchase any of these polishes or other Maxus products, you can use my affiliate code "Cali15" to get 15% off on the Maxus Nails website. Now, let's get into it...

Thank you so much to Maxus Nails for sending me this awesome package! This is not sponsored, all opinions are my own. They sent over their base coat, top coat, strengthener, and Empower Collection. I'll be giving a more thorough review of the top and base coats soon, so today let's just talk about the polishes. Let's take a closer look at the first one...

First we have "Adored," an elegant nude/neutral creme. This one matches my skin tone pretty perfectly, so if you have fair/pale skin like me, this is a nice nude shade; if you have a darker skin tone, this will be a lovely neutral. I was super impressed by the formula on this one, it applied very nicely and was completely opaque in two coats for me. Next up is my fave from the collection, this is "Inspired." This one is your perfect, timeless bright red creme. This shade is so flattering and classic, I absolutely love it. The formula is slightly jelly-like, but it applies as an opaque creme in two coats. So stunning and a great staple for any collection! Just FYI: Unfortunately, these last two photos didn't turn out absolutely accurate/true-to-color, but they're pretty close. To see these last two a bit better, please watch my swatch video or check the Maxus Nails website.

Here we have "Admired," a darker wine color. Again, very flattering and so classic. I love wearing shades like this in the fall! If you have a darker skin tone, this would be a stunning nude/neutral polish. Another slightly-jelly formula, but again, good creme finish in two coats. Finally, we have "Respected," a really pretty very-dark maroon shade. This reminds me of a Revlon fave I had years ago, so it's super nostalgic for me. This is a gorgeous nude/neutral for darker skin tones, a beautiful statement color for fall, and another timeless polish to round out this collection. So, that does it for this fab collection. I really like this quartet as a whole and I was super impressed by the formulas. I think my favorite was "Inspired," but let me know in the comments which one you like best.
