Minimal Summer Nail Polish Lookbook

To most of us, summer means bold, bright neons and vibrant, loud colors. But if you’re looking for some more unique/subdued options, then this special nail polish lookbook is just for you.

Let’s start with my recent “top six” video so you can see my picks swatched live…

I had so much fun putting this color palette together! I really like how all of these colors look together—they compliment each other so well.

“Mango Punch” by Sally Hansen [Good. Kind. Pure.] is a beautiful carrot-y coral shade—it’s slightly muted and definitely a nice twist on a classic, bright orange. A great choice for fans of more subdued, timeless nail colors.

“Grateful & Kind” by Olive & June (g) is the perfect soft medium-pink shade for your next summer mani. This one is really versatile, it would be beautiful on a variety of skin tones, and has so many nail art possibilities! To shop this shade and more, you can click here to use my Olive & June ref. link for $10 off your first order of $50.

“Glow Up” by Nailtopia (g) is something we’re more accustomed to seeing during the fall, but this color is a fun option if you’re not a fan of highlighter-yellow nails. This one definitely has more of an orange-y mustard-y tone, so it’s really lovely. As I said in the video, double up on base coat and be careful of staining!

“Express to Impress” by Essie has so much personality! The bright spearmint-gum-green color is such a refreshing shade for summer and the formula is really nice. It’s easy to be green with this one!

“Profound Plumeria” by Nailtural happens to be aiding the trend of a spicy, turquoise-y shade that is just sweeping styles this season. This color is perfect for you if you’re in need of a blue with a little pizzazz! Once again, double up on base coat and be wary of staining.

Finally, “Surfside Skies” by China Glaze is perfect for year-round pastel fans. The color of this one is so soft and sweet, it’s so glowy and would be just gorgeous on a variety of skin tones. So nice for nail art too!
