Minimal Bow Manicure for Christmas

As you saw in last week’s blog post, I’ve been really enjoying my new polishes from Huella Beauty, so I decided to create a really cute, minimal, elegant design for this lovely Christmas season. And it’s pretty easy to create with just a toothpick!

I LOVE this design! I think it’s so adorable and chic for a festive-yet-simple holiday mani.

As usual, below you’ll find a product list for this one featuring the polishes I used, as well as a quick step-by-step for you. Enjoy!

Nail art tutorial:

Step 1: After base coat, apply one to two coats of a shimmery bright red polish to all your nails. Let all your nails dry for 2-5 minutes between coats and then 2-5 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Once your base color is fully dry, using a shimmery bright purple and a detailing nail art brush or toothpick, on your middle nail, create a straight thin line going from one side of your smile-line to the other. On your ring nail, create another straight thin line going from the base of your cuticle to the edge of your nail. Let both dry for a minute or two.

Step 3: Again with that purple color, add two little bow loops somewhere on both lines. Add two little dashes underneath each for the ribbon pieces.

Step 4: After letting all of your nails dry for 2-7 minutes, apply top coat to protect your festive nail designs. Let this dry fully and your mani is complete!

This was such a fun design to whip up! If you give this mani a try, then definitely share on your Instagram with #tsninspo so I can see and share it with our community. Seeing your beautiful manis is always such a joy!
