Mix ‘n’ match nails have been such a huge 2021 trend, so it seems only fitting to wrap up the year with this cute Santa Claus-themed one!

I had so much fun putting this mani together! I think the colors look so cute together; you could also totally use one of these designs for an accent nail.

As usual, below you’ll find a product list for this one featuring the polishes I used, as well as a quick step-by-step for you. Enjoy!

Nail art tutorial:

Step 1: After base coat, apply two coats of a light blue polish to all your nails except for your ring finger. Apply two coats of a shimmery red polish to your ring finger. Let all your nails dry for 2-5 minutes between coats and then 2-5 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Once your base colors are fully dry, start on your pointer finger by creating a Santa hat shape with that same shimmery red. Feel free to look at a reference illustration for this!

Step 3: Once your Santa hat is dry, go in with a bobby pin or dotting tool and white polish to add the fluff on the edge of your nail and the tip of the hat.

Step 4: On your middle nail, use that same tool and white polish to create a few fluffy clouds. Create a few dots and fill in the shape to do this.

Step 5: On your ring nail, create the fluffy center strip of Santa’s coat by dotting white in two columns down your nail and filling in the middle. Let dry 2-5 minutes.

Step 6: Add in red dots for buttons on the center of your coat.

Step 7: Create some red dots on your pinky nail in any pattern or size you like.

Step 8: After letting all of your nails dry for 2-7 minutes, apply top coat to protect your festive nail designs. Let this dry fully and your mani is complete!

I’m so happy with this holly jolly mani. If you give any of these designs a try, then definitely share on your Instagram with #tsninspo so I can see and share it with our community. Seeing your beautiful manis is always such a joy!
