3 Fun Mother's Day Ideas + Activities for 2020

Hi, Polished People! I hope you're having a nice start to your morning. Happy Mother's Day to all the awesome moms out there! (Love you, Mom!) Since this year might look a little different for everyone, I wanted to share some ideas and activities that you could do to celebrate. Let's get into it...

1. Mother-Daughter Manicures and/or Pedicures

This is always really fun and relaxing, as well as a no-brainer for my brand, so I had to mention it. I do this with my mom almost every year! My mom asked me to give her a pedicure for Mother's Day, so that's what we'll be doing later today.

Due to what's going on in the world, if you and your mom are social distancing, how about dropping off a mani kit for her? Put together some polishes and essentials and make a little care package!

2. Baking Together

This is a good one, whether you're in the same house or not. Choose a favorite recipe and bake together! My mom and I are going to make pancakes today, I can't wait.

You can also do this long-distance! FaceTime your mom or use an app like House Party and you can have some fun and bake together.

3. Netflix Time!

Find a movie, old favorite or new adventure, and watch together. Quality time is always the best. My mom and I have been wanting to watch the Harriet movie; I love the "Stand Up" song from it. What's your favorite movie?

If you're not in the same house, you can watch a mother-daughter movie via the Netflix Party Chrome extension. You can easily sync-up what you're watching and type in a chat as you go.

I hope you found these suggestions inspirational and/or helpful! I also hope that all you moms and kids have a really wonderful day. If you're celebrating with friends or other family members, I hope you have a nice day too. If you have any other suggestions or ideas or anything, feel free to share in the comments! Stay safe and healthy, and be well!

Have a polished rest of your day,

- Cali
