I'm back, Polished People! I explain a little more in my latest YouTube video; you can watch it below before we continue with this post...

As I said in the video, I had a very hectic summer, and much like last year, I missed my anniversaries this month! On August 5th, 2016, I started my original Nail Candy blog on a Google Doc. On August 2nd, 2017, I started my YouTube channel. So many things have happened since I started both things, such a crazy-wonderful journey, and I've really enjoyed all that I've learned and created. I can't believe how quickly time flies!

I'd like to thank everyone who supports threesixtynails each and every day. Thank you to everyone who helped threesixtynails to reach 1,900+ on Instagram and 600+ on YouTube, all those who watch my videos, like my photos, leave such positive comments, and help build a supportive community of nail artists. I appreciate all the interaction from you guys and I'm so glad you enjoy the content I'm creating for threesixtynails.Really quick, let's go through some of the milestones and cool things that happened in the last year...

1. threesixtybeauty blog and Instagram

In late 2018, I decided to add some beauty content to my website and Instagram presence. After integrating some beauty things into my nail content, I decided to add a separate blog and create an Instagram. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to add much to threesixtybeauty in 2019, but if you have any requests/suggestions, drop a comment and I'll work on it soon!

2. threesixtynails on Patreon

Patreon is an awesome platform for creators to use in an effort to keep up funds for their creative outlets and businesses. I joined this platform last November and am looking forward to working with it more. If you haven't visited threesixtynails on Patreon, you can support for as little as $1 per month and receive some pretty cool perks! Check it out here, all support is greatly appreciated: https://www.patreon.com/threesixtynails.

3. #31DC2018 and Nailmas 2018

In December, I took on a majorly busy nail artist challenge. I did the 31 Day Challenge, something I've done and finished for three years, as well as Nailmas for the first time. The 31 Day Challenge is a yearly nail art challenge and it's a great way to flex your creative muscles. Nailmas is the nail community's version of Vlogmas, where you post a vlog every day until Christmas. Both of these events were so much fun and I had a great time participating in them. I will definitely do them again this year!

4. New YouTube background

Right at the start of 2019, I revamped my entire YouTube video setup. I put together a really cute background and I adore how it looks in my videos. I change it up every couple months and I think it'll be a great setup for many videos to come.

5. So many YouTube collaborations

It's September now, there are still four months left in the year, and I've already collaborated with sooooo many awesome nail art YouTubers. This year, I've done collabs with loopyfrog, Olive Ave Nails, Be Free Have Fun!, Sparkles USA, and Nailpolish BabyyNinety. I also participated in the huge Spring and Summer collabs between tons of YouTubers all across the nail art community, a seasonal group collab that it always such a great experience.

6. threesixtynails on VSCO

I was only recently introduced to VSCO earlier this year. VSCO is a unique photo editing Instagram-like platform and I have really been enjoying it. It's a lot more casual and artsy than Instagram and I'm learning a lot by working with the filters and photo editing options. If you're not following threesixtynails on VSCO, definitely check it out for some really nice pics! Visit my VSCO at this link: https://vsco.co/threesixtynails.

Thank you guys so much for another fantastic year! Here's to many more to come! Don't forget to subscribe to blog so you never miss a new post, and have a polished rest of your day! :)
