NEW threesixtynails All Things Nails Tag

Hey, Polished People! I hope you had a fantastic week. I had an idea a while ago, since I enjoy doing tags, to create my own! As a start, I tag Alli Evette, bonitajuanita, and Moon Baby Nails. But, guess what?! I also tag all of YOU, all my Polished People, to do this tag, too! So if you do this tag on your blog, YouTube, Instagram, other social media, or on a piece of paper at home, tag me, comment, or email, so I can feature you!Okay, so here are my answers and then there's a blank set of questions below for you. Enjoy!

1 - Favorite base coat you've ever tried?

That's hard, but I'd have to see either the Zoya Anchor Base Coat or the Chill Zone Nails Premium Base Coat. The Zoya one was good for not getting my nails stained and the Chill Zone one has a great wear when paired with its top coat twin.

2 - Favorite cuticle/hand cream?

I'd have to say Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and then Mary Kay Satin Hands Hand Cream. First, the Burt's Bees cuticle cream has such a lovely lemon scent and is very nourishing. The Mary Kay hand cream is one of the few hand creams that doesn't bother my skin and it keeps my hands really soft for a good amount of time.

3 - Favorite mainstream brand?

Hands down, China Glaze. I always look forward to their new collections, their polishes are very creative considering they're mainstream, and they are at a more affordable/reasonable mainstream price.

4 - Favorite polish from that brand?

Oh my goodness, that is so hard. If you said "what's your favorite polish from China Glaze at the moment," then I'd easily say "Santa's Side Chick," which is a gorgeous matte red shimmer that I've been wearing a ton lately. Check out my swatch and review video for their Glam Finale Collection HERE.

5 - Favorite indie brand?

Definitely Cupcake Polish, as of now. They have awesome formulas and BEAUTIFUL holo polishes.

6 - Favorite polish from that brand?

"Berry Good Looking" is not only my favorite polish from Cupcake Polish, but my favorite polish of ALL TIME. It's a stunning violet/orchid fuchsia holographic creme with a one-coat formula and amazing linear holographic sparkle! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this one.

7 - Glossy or matte?

Glossy. I don't have a matte topcoat at the moment, so I don't even have matte nails very often.

8 - Long or short nails?

Long. Short nails are easier to manage, but long nails are more fun to do nail art on. Plus, you can shape them in all kinds of fun ways.

9 - Dark polish or bright polish?

Hands down, BRIGHT. I do like a few darker colors for Fall and Winter, however, I definitely prefer bright pinks and oranges and blues. Summer/Spring colors, except for Halloween and Christmas polishes. ;)

10 - Thick polish formula or thin polish formula?

If I have to choose, I guess I'd say thick. I don't like SUPER thick formulas, but I really don't like it when polishes are runny and streaky and watery, so I'm not a fan of UBER thin formulas.

11 - Nail art or solid color?

Nail art!!! I do enjoy a good single-color mani, especially after a wild creative challenge like the 31 Day Challenge.

12 - 3D nail art?

Meh. I don't do a lot of 3D nail art (scuptling, charms, etc.), but I do think it looks really pretty when I'm feelin' it! I would like to do more gem-like manicures in the future. Bring the bling! ☺

13 - Favorite top coat you've ever tried?

That's hard. Probably my Chill Zone Nails Premium Top Coat, or INM Out-the-Door Top Coat. The Chill Zone one is great for prolonging your polish-wear, and the INM one has your nails dry in a snap.

14 - Least favorite polish of all time

essie's "Chillato." I bought this polish sometime in the Spring and thought it was super pretty. I'd heard about it from other nail enthusiasts, and had to try it. I was very disappointed with the formula, as even at four coats, I can't get it completely opaque. This may work for me when I have super-short nails, but I do think it's over-hyped. It's not that I "don't like this polish" (I've never met a polish I didn't like), I just don't care for the formula, and that makes it my "least favorite."

15 - Top favorite polish of all time

Already mentioned, it is "Berry Good Looking."

16 - Favorite polishes for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter

Spring: "Too Much of a Good Fling" by China Glaze

Summer: "Peace, Love, & Polish" by Color Club

Autumn: "With the Beet" by Sally Hansen [Insta-Dri]

Winter: "Blue Sky Melody" by whim.

17 - Natural nails or fake?

Natural nails. Occasionally, I'll pop on a fake nail if I break one, but I don't wear full hands of fake nails. While it's hard to take the time to grow out your own nails, it's completely worth it.

18 - Nail salon or no nail salon?

No nail salon. I've only been to a nail salon once in the last two years, and I much prefer doing my own nails with my own nail care routine.

19 - What's the most expensive polish you've ever purchased?

Probably my Cupcake Polishes, because those are $13 a piece, plus shipping. So all in all, it comes out to about $15.

20 - What's the least expensive polish you've ever purchased?

Haha, I like this one. Believe it or not, the cheapest polish I've ever bought is a Halloween Sally Beauty polish that I bought for....*drum roll*... a whopping $0.36! Great bargain!
