31 Day Challenge 2017 ~ Day 8: Metallic Nails

Hey, Polished People! I'm going to get used to this really cool name quickly! ☺ Today's mani was a hard prompt, because I'm not a fan of metallic nails, but I figured something out and I love how it turned out...

This was my first attempt at a full-moon manicure, a very classic mani and one the first "nail designs" in salons. This came out so gorgeous and it has a really elegant Christmas look to it with the glitter and color schemes! If you want to know how I did it...

I grabbed "Royal Pain in the Ascot" by China Glaze, "Frozen Rose" by p2 Cosmetics, "Fame Game" by Morgan Taylor, and a detailing nail art brush. I applied one coat of the red (yes, it's that awesomely opaque!), then used my second polish to create a sweeping, almost half-moon stroke across the center of my nail, leaving my tip open. I finished by garnishing the edges of the rose gold with some dots of silver holo glitter. GORGEOUS!!

If you have any suggestions for Day 9 (Rainbow Nails), Day 10 (Gradient Nails), and/or Day 11 (Polka Dots), let me know!
