31 Day Challenge 2017 ~ Day 7: Black and White Nails

Hello...POLISHED PEOPLE! Yes, that's the winning name for the threesixtynails followers and you're a part of this nail artist family if you're reading this/have been reading the blog recently or from day one! Okay, so here's today's adorable mani:

These came out so CUUUUUUTE! I did cute little penguins for today's "Black and White Nails" prompt, and I really like how they came out. These were another fab suggestion from Lynne here on the blog, so thank you, Lynne! If you want to know how I created these...

I grabbed "Songbird Serenade" by China Glaze, "Blanc Out" by China Glaze, "Exotic Birds Do Not Tweet" by OPI, and a detailing nail art brush. I applied two coats of the shimmery black, then white a little further down the nail, almost creating a ruffian shape. I used the end of my brush to create a nose/bill, feet/flippers, and eyes for the penguin. I used the brush to put small white shine dots in the eyes. All done with top coat!
