31 Day Challenge 2017 ~ Day 1: Red Nails
Hey, everyone! Before we start, I want to think of a name for you guys! If you have any ideas, comment below or DM me on Instagram. Okay, so I'm taking on the 31 Day Challenge for the second year in a row, and if you don't know what this challenge is, you can read about it HERE. This is usually run by Sarah Waite (Chalkboard Nails), but this year, the prompt schedules were made by Cathy (More Nail Polish). This is the one I chose:
I will try to do some YouTube tutorials for designs I create this month, but you can see all the manicures throughout November (and one day in December) on Instagram and here on the blog. So, today's design off the prompt "Red Nails" is a stamped heart pattern done in a dark red over a base of a lighter red. I think this a gorgeous manicure to start with and it has a kind of peek-a-boo effect because of the color tones. Super happy with Day 1!
Basically, if you're interested in knowing how I did this...
I grabbed my Pueen Fairytale Lover 01 stamping plate, clear jelly stamper and scraper, "Radiant Red" by Mary Kay, and "Applejack of my Eye" by China Glaze. I stamped with "Radiant Red" over two coats of "Applejack of my Eye". Easy!
