Back to School-inspired Nail Polish 2017: Dress Code Edition
Good afternoon, everybody! I really enjoyed Wednesday's post and I wanted to bring you another one with a similar theme. If your school has a dress code, you may not be able to wear wild, flashy nail polish. Fear not! I've got four polishes today that are not too wild but are still really pretty and can add some subtle sparkle to your outfit/uniform that'll make you smile every time you look at your mani. :) Let's get into it!
First up are actually two polishes from Zoya, one of my favorite nail polish brands. This one you'll have seen plenty on my site in the last month or so; it's "Lacey" from their Spring 2017 Charming Collection! This is a stunning light green that, as I've mentioned, is perfectly shimmery and beautiful but is subtle enough for the office...or for school with a dress code! Read more HERE.
And now here's "Hudson", a STUNNING lavender purple with silver/gold shimmer sprinkled throughout. This one, like "Lacey", is light enough to be neutral, but packs a lot of punch in it's beautiful color and sparkle. Excellent in two coats!
This next one is by Pure Ice and it's so pretty and delicate. It's called "I Got A Confection" and it's a lovely super-light pink with lavender undertones and strong gold shimmer. This can be considered a nude polish because of the color, but this isn't a boring nude color by any stretch. It's absolutely gorgeous and so perfect for everyday wear!
Finally we have "Nude Graffiti" by Revlon. This is a beautiful white, nude, and orange-y/tan glitter pieces in hexagon, circle, and bar shapes. This is a versatile and pretty polish because you can wear it on your bare nail or over another color for a super-cool mani! Highly recommend this one!
And that's all for this polish guide! Which polish was your favorite? I hope this gives you some ideas for polishes you can wear even if your school has a dress code. And if you school doesn't allow nail polish, don't worry! There's always weekends to flash a fun mani! :) Hope you have a safe and successful semester, everyone!
