TAG: #polishtag2017 by @fabnaturalnails ~ Polish Your Luck on Instagram

Good evening, everybody! I'm going to be easing into switching up the blog schedule, so instead of the usual Friday tutorial video, it will now be TWO NEW VIDEOS on Tuesday and Thursday on the threesixtynailsTV YouTube channel (subscribe HERE!). However, there will still be a Friday post! Today's post is a tag that @fabnaturalnails on Instagram created, called #polishtag17. Let's get to it!Below are the questions and my answers. I've also included a set of unanswered questions below for you. Because, guess what? If you're reading this, I tag YOU! ☺ Enjoy!

1. essie vs. OPI

Currently, OPI. Their Fiji Collection was one of my favorites this year and their formulas are really great! (Looking forward to seeing what essie's Fall collection this year, though!)

2. Nail Art vs. One-Color Mani

Nail art. I really adore the look of one-color manis, but whenever I try to wear one color, I either add another accent color or usually wear it for a day and add nail art.

3. Fav Drugstore Nail Polish

Sinful Colors! These polishes are only $1.99 or $3.99 and they come out with lots of collections every year. They have good formulas, unique colors and finishes, and they're altogether wonderful! (See the tutorial I posted on YouTube yesterday for how to use their NEW Hypnotic Transforming Top Coat HERE.)

4. Gradients vs. Water Marble

Ooh... that's tough. Probably water marble because they make such unique and gorgeous designs, and they're easier to clean up. While they're both a pain to clean up without liquid latex (or even with), the water marble excess comes off quicker. Water marble is really fun!

5. Fav Top Coat

"Out the Door" Top Coat by INM and/or essie Gel Setter. They both dry quickly and are great for different purposes. If I'm just top coating a design I won't be wearing for very long or if I'm blending a gradient, I'll use the INM one. When I wear a design for a long time or need some extra gloss on top, I'll go with the essie one.

6. Long vs. Short Nails

That depends. ☺ Generally, I prefer long nails, but when they start breaking or I get tired of them, short nails are low-maintenance and refreshing.

7. Metallic vs. Holo

HOLO!!!!!!!!!!! Holographic nail polish wasn't a favorite of mine for the longest time; I didn't think it was that impressive...until I saw it in person. It's so amazing in direct sunlight, with the rainbow shift and sparkle--so blingy!!! 😍 Metallics are nice, as well, but holo is so stunning.

8. Ever had acrylics?

Not yet!

9. Cuticle Oil vs. Cuticle Cream

Both, but more often I use cuticle oil.

10. Do you buff your nails?

Occasionally. I don't recommend doing it every time you do your nails because it can weaken your nail plate and leave your nails not looking their best. Every so often it's fine. :)

This tag was really fun! Thanks for coming up with it, @fabnaturalnails! I hope you enjoyed this tag as well--the second set for you is below:
