Your 2021 Guide to Trendy Nail Colors for Summer

I absolutely love seasonal transitions in the nail community. It is so much fun to see what designs are getting popular, what colors are trending, all the new collections. One of my favorites is spring-to-summer. I am a huge fan of bright colors and fun designs, so the time of floral nail art and vibrant polishes is just the best.

But what nail colors are trending this year? You don’t have to go scrolling through Pinterest or digging around Instagram, because I did that for you and came up with four shades that I’ve been seeing a lot lately in fresh, summer manicures. Let’s take a look…

1. Bleached or Bright Coral

While I haven’t seen this one as much as other years in summer nail polish collections, it’s definitely made quite an appearance in trending manicures! This particular trend color pops up in a variety of tones and shades, so you’re sure to find one that suits your skin tone beautifully. This is always a summer go-to of mine for mani/pedis, so I’m happy to see it taking the stage this year.

The example polish I have for this one is called “Wild & Free” (g) and it’s from the brand Olive & June. You can use my ref. link for $10 off your first order of $50 by shopping right here: http://fbuy.me/v/threesixtynails.

2. Pastel Mint Green

This shade is one of my all-time favorite summer staples and it’s definitely getting a lot of attention this season! I’ve been seeing this one in so many “Pinterest aesthetic” manicures, paired with dainty floral designs, and on its own on a variety of nail shapes. You can find this one in tones ranging from a more minty blue to a totally seafoam green, so of course, whatever floats your boat will be just lovely for your next mani.

The example polish I have for this one is called “Minty” and it’s from the Pacifica Plant-Magic line.

3. “Hibiscus” Medium Pink

A different shade of pink seems to take the stage every summer and this year, I’ve been seeing a ton of vibrant manis utilizing medium pink or hot pink polishes, especially in this “hibiscus” or magenta tone. A perfect contender for a floral statement mani, this color looks so gorgeous on a variety of skin tones and you can find so many polishes of this color with excellent formulas.

The example polish I have for this one is called “Peony Origins” and it’s from the Sally Hansen good. kind. pure. line. You can grab yours here: https://amzn.to/3vIEov2.

4. Milky or Natural Neutrals

Still going along with the minimalist, aesthetic manis floating around on Pinterest, you’ll find a lot of milky and natural bases being used this season. Whether you’re going for a mix-and-match colorful french tip look or a natural base with fun designs, a milky gloss in a necessity for 2021. You can find polishes like this in a variety of shades to match your natural nail color and skin tone, as well as plenty of options for layering versatility.

The example polish for this one is called “Perfectly Pink” and it’s from the brand Nailtural.

I love this color palette and I think all of these trend shades look gorgeous together or on their own. I will definitely be doing some nail art with these soon!
