Your 2021 Guide to Trendy Nail Colors for Fall

I had such a great time putting one of these trend posts together for summer, so here’s another one for fall! Fall is my favorite season, but for us bright-polish-enthusiasts, sometimes it can be hard to figure out what shades to wear while we’re rocking cozy sweaters and carrying our favorite autumnal drinks.

So, in case you’re wondering what’s trending this year, I’ve got some suggestions for you here. You don’t have to go scrolling through Pinterest or digging around Instagram, because I did that for you and came up with four shades that I’ve been seeing a lot lately in fresh, fall manicures. Let’s take a look…

1. Dark or Dusty Gray

A classic I kept spotting while scrolling through fall hashtags was different variations of a dark or dusty gray. Some might even be classified as a paler, dusty black. These are great to mix in with brighter fall shades, especially if you’re a fan of more subdued shades. I’m looking forward to incorporating this shade into nail art!

2. Burnt or Pumpkin Orange

Believe it or not, the poster child for fall colors is totally center-stage for this year’s skittle manicures especially. Whether you’re more on the burnt terra-cotta side or the warm Jack-o-Lantern side, a variation of this color works so well with any skin tone and is a great option for any statement mani.

The example polish I have for this one is called “Bolt and Be Bold” and it’s from the Essie Expressie line. You can grab yours here: https://amzn.to/3tvped1

3. Chocolate Brown

Brown has been a trendy neutral shade for most of 2021, but it’s becoming especially popular for autumn. This creamy, cozy shade is the perfect “all-weather” color for any manicure, no matter if you’re going for something detailed or simple. You can also play around with how light or dark you like it for various occasions!

4. Shimmery Beige

This one seems to come back every year! Whether it’s dusted with pink or silver shimmer, or standing alone with other colors, this unique polish is certainly a fun option for your next nail art look. Try incorporating this one as an accent nail or subtle design.

The example polish for this one is called “Spell the Tea” and it’s from the China Glaze Spellbound Fall 2020 Collection.

I had so much fun putting this post together! I hope you found it helpful in picking out your next sweater-weather mani. I love this color palette and I think all of these trend shades look gorgeous together or on their own. I will definitely be doing some nail art with these soon!

Which of these Fall 2021 shades is your fave? Is there another trend color you’ve been loving? Comment below!

Don’t forget to bookmark this for reference all autumn long!

Have a polished rest of your day,
