Adorable + Easy Pumpkin Patch Manicure

This week over on Instagram, @manicured.by.emma and I decided to do a cute mani swap! So today’s blog mani is a re-creation of Emma’s adorable pumpkin patch nail design; you can see Emma’s original design in the collage at the end of this post. Let’s get into it!

I’ve been wearing this mani all week and it’s been the perfect way to finish out October! I love how simple and bold this design is too; super fun and unique.

As usual, below you’ll find a product list for this one featuring all polishes I used, as well as a quick step-by-step for you. Enjoy!

Products used in this mani

  • “Petal Pink” by Nailtural

  • “Main Squeeze” by Nailtopia (g)

  • “Cold Brew Crew” by Essie [Expressie] - https://amzn.to/3jSWlnt

  • Detailing Nail Art Brush

(!) Polishes in this post contain/may contain: Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Ferric Ammonium Ferrocyanide, Aluminum Powder, and Ferric Ferrocyanide. Please visit my Journey to “Less-Toxic” Nail Polish page to learn more.

Nail art tutorial:

Step 1: After base coat, apply one to two coats of a “French mani” or “natural nails” polish to your nails. Let all your nails dry for 2-5 minutes between coats and then 2-5 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Once your base color is fully dry, using the brush of an orange polish (creme, shimmer, glitter, whatever you like!), swipe two big bumps over about a third of your nail, depending on the length of your nails. Connect the bumps and fill in to create a pumpkin shape and look up a reference pic if you need! Let dry for 2-5 minutes.

Step 3: With a detailing nail art brush or toothpick, add a little stem to each pumpkin with brown nail polish.

Step 4: After letting all of your nails dry for 2-7 minutes, apply top coat to protect your little pumpkin patch. Let this dry fully and your mani is complete!

This was such a fun nail art look to put together! If you give this design a try, then definitely share on your Instagram with #tsninspo so I can see and share it with our community. Seeing your beautiful manis is always such a joy!
