Olive & June Into You Summer 2020 Collection | Swatch & Review
Hi, Polished People! I already reviewed this collection on my YouTube channel, but I wanted to put together a blog post as well. Here you'll see my swatch pictures and brief review of each polish. I hope you find this helpful!
This first one is called "Sweet & Gracious," and it's one of my favorites. This popsicle orange is your perfect shade for summer and if you have pale skin like me, this makes you look a little tan. This one is good in two to three coats depending on nail length and application. Love this one!
Next we have "Bright & Focused," a beautiful and sunny light-yellow. So pretty and would look great on a variety of skin tones. Applies nicely in two to three coats depending on nail length and application.
"Honest & True" is an elegant pale blue shade, a nice change from summer brights. This one definitely needs three coats, unless your nails are super short.
This medium pink is called "Grateful & Kind." This one has a bit of a better formula, so you could probably get away with two coats. This one is very similar to a polish featured in their most recent spring collection. That one was a little bit lighter and more washed-out, but they're super alike to be so close in release. Both are very pretty, though!
"Wild & Free" is a lovely, peachy bleached-neon coral, another great "make you tan" color if you have fair skin like me. I haven't seen a lot of these lately, so I'm happy to add this one to my collection. Again, two to three coats is best depending on nail length and application.
"Bold & Unshaken" is my second favorite from the collection. I haven't seen a fun blurple polish like this in a long time, so this is so unique to my polish collection. Two to three coats for this one too.
Finally, we have "Fierce & Loving" a light lilac-pink shade. This is another "unique for summer" polish and I really like the tone of this one. Good in two to three coats as well.
If you're wondering why the application of these polishes is tricky, it's because they're formulated for long-wear. I've had good and not great experiences in applying these polishes, but across the board, any of these polishes combined with the Olive & June top coat makes for a long-lasting mani. I've worn two of these shades for about a week and I was very impressed with the wear-time.
Overall, this collection is absolutely gorgeous and I'm very happy with it. Have you tried any polishes from this collection? Ever tried any Olive & June polishes in general? Let's chat in the comments below.
I hope you're having a lovely day. Be well!
