May Favorites // 2018
Hello, guys! I'm so glad I'm finding more time to blog; I've missed it. :) Today, I thought I'd put together a favorites post, something that I haven't done in a while. Let's start with nail care...
A new nail care item I've been trying out lately is this Crelly by Ever After Polish, an indie brand, that I got in my VIP bag from the Indie Shop. The scent is "Sea Breeze" and it is so light and beachy. I know that a crelly polish is between a crème and a crelly, and that makes sense for this product, since it's not quite a cream, but not quite a jelly. I've been using on my cuticles and nails between manicures and swatching. It's super hydrating and, again, smells really nice. I do believe that Ever After is unfortunately going out of business, but you can find the details on their Instagram.
As for nail polishes, I've got three to show you. You've probably seen these before in my other blog posts recently or on my YouTube channel, but the first one I've been enjoying is "At Your Athleisure" from the China Glaze Chic Physique Spring 2018 Collection. If you've seen my swatch and review video or read the blog post, you'll know that this is one of my favorites from that collection. This is such a gorgeous sky blue crème with a hint of turquoise, and it's perfect for the spring and summer seasons. I've really been enjoying wearing plain cremes lately, and this one is the one I'm wearing as I write this. :)
Another crème you saw just a day or two ago, if you read my last blog post, is "Winnie," a gorgeous medium carnation pink. This one stained my nails just by about 5%, but it wasn't terrible at all; some light buffing takes it right away. This polish has an amazing formula, it's perfect in two coats, and would look really nice on a variety of skin tones.
Another pretty polish I found recently is "Sky Blue," a gorgeous slightly-pastel cobalt blue crème with a fantastic two-coat formula. This is SUCH a perfect blue, awesome for summer. This is from the Crayola x Sally Hansen collection, and I'm hoping to get some more from this collection. I spotted these on clearance at Target, so check the sale area at your local Target to see if you can find any!
That does it for today! This was a little shorter than other posts, but I'm going to be doing a favorites YouTube video soon. Stick around and subscribe for that sometime in June! See you soon. :)
Have a polished rest of your day! 🙂
