Your destination for nails and good vibes

I'm Cali G.

Nice to meet you, sunshine! I’m a nail artist, positivity/wellness enthusiast, perpetual creative, and I’ve been sharing what I love on the internet for about five years. Some of my favorite things are: brownies, trivia, old sitcoms, and bullet journaling. And overall, if it involves the arts or being creative, it’s probably something I adore.

3 of my favorite places to be

Dream vacation? Not quite. But between work and free time, you’ll probably find me in one of these three locations…

The Theater

The Movies

My Couch

I have been in the performing arts industry for over ten years. Both as a performer/actor and an audience member, the theater is one place I seem to be at all the time.

There’s just something about the big screen, the buttery popcorn, the (hopefully) reclining seats, am I right? I absolutely love going to see a good movie with family and friends.

Most of the web-master work actually happens with the help of a cozy blanket and buffalo-checked throw pillows. I’ve been working from home for about nine years, so this has become my office.

All the jobs and a bag of chips

I’ve been a blogger for a long time, so it was a really exciting day back in 2017 when this website was launched into the world. I work under the marketing umbrella (i.e. web-design, social media management, graphic design) and I’m a writer, so I’m always happy to put my skills to good use.

I also work a lot in my community, from volunteering at the library to working in local theaters. You could probably find me babysitting and teaching now and then as well. An entrepreneur at heart, I’m always coming up with new side-hustles endeavors.

I believe the world could always use a little more joy. The internet and social media can hold so much negativity, but that doesn’t have to be the case. I strive every day to create a positive community where my audience can come together and support each other. If I can put a smile on someone’s face, send a positive tweet into the world, or simply be kind, then I’ve done my job. I hope to inspire others to keep sunshine in mind and share the good vibes.

"Be the sunshine in someone else's sky."

Frequently Asked Questions

Grab a mug. Let's pretend we're on a talk show.

How did you start doing nail art?

For many in the nail industry, Sandi from CutePolish lit the way for us. I discovered some of her videos on Disney’s website several years ago, and the rest is history.

Are you a certified nail tech?

Nope, I’m a DIY nail artist. This is something I’d love to pursue one day, though!

Do you have any advice for getting better at doing your nails/nail art by yourself?

I know this sounds so super cliche, but I really mean it: practice, practice, practice. I’ve been doing my own nails since 2015. There was one point in time when I did my nails multiple timesĀ  per week, sometimes even per day! Nail art is so much fun, and finishing with a masterpiece you can wear? It doesn’t get much better than that. So I want you to practice and keep honing your craft. You can do it! If you have any specific questions, head to the Contact page so we can chat.

Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur/run your own business?

Mostly, yes! As a kid, I was always trying to come up with my own business. I ran lemonade stands, made websites for fun, even ran my own craft/handmade shop for a few years. The first time I was truly inspired was somewhere in the middle of all that. I remember buying a book for young girls about how to save and make money. It was packed with information, tips on running a business, a way to design your own business cards; I was hooked. I don’t think I’ve stopped being an entrepreneur since then!

I posted a comment on one your blog posts. Where is it?

All comments are manually approved so we can keep this community sunny and free of spam. Check back in a day or so, I always respond. And thanks for leaving a comment! I appreciate it.

How many polishes are in your collection?

Hold on, let me go count.

How did you come up with the name "threesixtynails?"

That took a giant whiteboard and a massive brainstorming session with the fam. I chose this name because I wanted something that encompassed “all things nails” (hence part of my tagline) because so many of the blogs and channels I’d seen were so specific. I wanted to create a space where I could include something for everyone; not just DIY nails, not just nail techs, not just one type of nail topic, but a name that could leave my brand open for expansion and growth.

How long have you been doing nail art?

About five years!
