Good morning, all! I got a great response on my Top 10 Tips for Nail Art/Tech Instagrammers post from this Tuesday, so I’m continuing on with a similar-style post. I’m sharing my top 5 scheduling tips for nail bloggers because I know it can be difficult to get a schedule together between juggling the rest of your life and all that goes into creating great nail-related posts. Let’s get into it!

Tips are below, along with my general blogger advice from my FAQ page. Enjoy and I hope you find some helpful tips!

“Be pretty consistent with your posts. Have a schedule or a certain amount of posts per week. Have a way for your audience to subscribe to your blog so they don’t miss new posts! Blog about things you enjoy and you’ll have much more awesome posts. 🙂”

#1 – Time for Blog Post Content

I know how much of a process it can be to create content inside a blog post; from pictures to writing, and links to videos, it takes time. But, the better content you have in your posts, the better your audience will enjoy it. However, better content requires more time. If you get caught on a schedule where you don’t have the time for the content you want to create, that’s never fun. Stressing out over posting deadlines is not good, so be sure you set aside time where you can work on what you want in your post.

#2 – Not enough days?

It’s important, when you start out blogging, that you create a posting schedule. This gives your audience something to depend on and an idea of when to expect new content from you. But don’t over-schedule yourself. If you don’t have enough time with the rest of your life to deal with putting together, say, two to three blog posts a week, then don’t say that that’s how many you’ll be posting. It’s completely fine to do one post a week. 🙂

#3 – The Time of Day

Is there a right or wrong time during the day to put up a blog post? Not really. It may be “better” to post midday or in the morning, but you post when you can. If you’ve been with my blog for a while, my posts have all different times of the day when they go up, ranging from mid-morning to nighttime.

#4 – Easy Posting Hack

If you think you won’t be able to post at a certain time, but you really want to, see if your blog has a scheduling tool where your post can go up automatically at a set time.

#5 – Enjoy Your Blogging

Before anything else, be sure you’re having fun while creating your blog posts and that you’re putting up content that you enjoy. 🙂
