Good afternoon, everybody! Before we jump into today’s post and video tutorial, I just wanted to take a second to say THANK YOU to all my followers on Instagram! Yesterday, @threesixtynails hit 50 FOLLOWERS!!! Yay! If you haven’t followed yet, you definitely should; there’s always fun surprises and post notifications going on over there. So, in honor of 50 followers, we now have…
… !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can now use #threesixtynails to tag your re-creation photos of designs from the blog and/or Instagram and any products that you try/review from the threesixtynails Nail Shop. Enjoy! Okay, so now onto today’s uber-fun post…
Today’s design is…
… DIY No-Gel Water Droplet Nail Art!!!!!!!!!!! A few months ago, I saw a gorgeous water droplet nail art on YouTube and I just loved the effect! I really wanted to try this design, but I only saw it created with gel. Hmm… So, I set out to find a way to create this design without curing gel that not every household, even the nail-art-iest household 😉 , has lying around. And I did; actually, three ways!
Today’s tutorial will show you how to create this fun and trendy water droplet mani with regular basecoat, a fast-drying topcoat, and/or Sally Hansen (no-cure) Miracle Gel, something much easier to find! And, to make it even more easy, there’s links from the threesixtynails Nail Shop to Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and the other products I used in the polishes/tools list right here. Enjoy!
Polishes/Tools used in this design:
Sinful Colors: Pink Smart *As usual, this link is to that gorgeous OPI shade, “I Think In Pink”
Another super-awesome benefit of this design is that it doubles as a no-tool mani! How cool! For another neat effect, you could try this with a matte base and then add the droplets; if you try it out, add #threesixtynails to your post so I can see! This mani is great for Easter, and it’s kind of like an Easter egg design, too. Oh, speaking of which, do you have any design requests for Easter? If so, let me know down in the comments.
Be sure to head over to Instagram and follow @threesixtynails; I post a lot of fun nail art, polishes, and more on there + I always let you know when a new post is up with a preview or pic. Also, check out the Nail Shop; it’s been updated! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #threesixtynails with your re-creations or nail art product finds from the Nail Shop so I can see. Thanks for your visit! See you Friday!
