Good afternoon, all! Today’s design is beautiful and PERFECT for a fancy occasion, birthday, party, and especially spring. (And even if it’s not springy for you yet, this design will transport you to warmer and more flowery weather with ease. 🙂 ) And the design for this fine Wednesday is…
… Abstract Flower Mani for Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to create something bright, fun, and springy for today’s tutorial, and I was and am very pleased with the result. This design is really easy to create, especially for beginners, and it was actually a pretty speedy process; the whole mani on one hand probably took me short of 20-30 minutes. This mani is really relaxing and is the perfect way to welcome spring.
Alright, now we’ve got a polishes/tools list links for the fun products I used in this design and the Wednesday-annual nail art video tutorial. Enjoy!
Polishes/Tools used in this design:
Formula X: Highlighter (glittery yellow-orange) *Unavailable on Amazon.com
essie, Cashmere Matte collection: Just Stitched (light/shimmery pink) *Unavailable on Amazon.com
Formula X: Radical (light lavender/pink) *I found a similar OPI shade called “Mod About You”.
whim.: Blue Sky Melody (bright light-blue) *This link is to a REALLY PRETTY China Glaze color.
Craft Smart Acrylic Paint: White *Again, this is the Apple Barrel pack.
Serendipity: Finishing Touch Topcoat *Unavailable on Amazon.com
Winning Nails: Nail Art Brush (tiny/detailing size) *The striper will work great for this!
This is a lovely design for spring and summer and it’ll be fun to pair with the season’s new fashion and color trends.
Also, I wanted to quickly mention the new Sally Hansen Color Therapy polish that I tried. Since for this design I used it as a color, not necessarily a treatment, I can comment about the color and how gorgeous “Rosy Glow” is! I’m planning on wearing this color as a simple mani to give my nails some time to hydrate through the argon oil-infused polish and relax. I’ll let you know how I like it! 🙂
