Howdy, everybody! Day 2 is here! Thank you for the lovely comments on yesterday’s post; I agree, those colors are PERFECT for Christmas, and I know I’ll use them again in September. Don’t forget, if you re-create a manicure of mine, share on Instagram with #threesixtynails on Instagram and YouTube, and I will feature it in my Instagram Story or here on the blog!
Okay, so today’s design is really perfect for Fall, a festival, and/or Thanksgiving. And it is…
…this gorgeous orange/gold/brown plaid-ish striped/checkered mani that has the best color scheme for November. Speaking of color schemes for this month, I’m announcing the Nail Polish Forum Polish Duo of the Month right now! Here it is:
These two are “Under Your Spell” by wet n wild [MegaLast] and “Accent Piece” by China Glaze. I chose these because, together, they look like the epitome of Thanksgiving. Just the two make such a perfect pair and are so cozy and Fall-ish, I adore them! If you have these two polishes, or similar ones, show off your manicures so I can see!
Have any ideas for the Day 3 and Day 4 prompts? “Yellow Nails” and “Green Nails”? Comment below! Also, if you’re interested in how I created today’s manicure, it wasn’t too hard…
I grabbed “Fondant of You” by essie, “Best Ponies Forever” by China Glaze, “Don’t Take Yosemite for Granite” by OPI, and a detailing nail art brush. I applied two coats of the orange base and then used the detailing brush (you could also use a striper or a toothpick) to create some imperfect checkered stripes across my nails. I then went in with the brown for some accents. Super pretty!
See you tomorrow! P.S. There’s a new video going up on my YouTube channel in about 5 minutes, so check it out and subscribe!
